As a Chamber of Commerce we have a number of committees that support the Chamber in delivering its vision and objectives for members and the greater community.

Committees plays a big part in our Chamber that works towards benefiting our members and the community by creating opportunities.

Committee genres cover the Members, Markets and Events. If you would like to be a part of one of our committees please email secretary@sandgatechamber.com.au with your interest.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee’s objectives are to gather new members as well as retain and support our current members. When new members join, the Membership Committee is responsible for ensuring new members are welcomed and introduced to the Chamber as well as other members.

Marketing Committee

The Marketing Committee’s objectives are:

1. Define and articulate a value proposition for chamber membership to attract local businesses and increase membership and representation in the Sandgate and Districts area.
2. Develop and implement a membership drive to increase membership and become known as an active dynamic Chamber that provides value for its members and the greater community.
3. Develop and implement a destination marketing campaign to attract visitors to the area through events, activities, social media, media coverage and referrals.

The Events Committee’s objectives are to ensure seamless delivery of our quality events with input from local businesses and also community members who have an interest in the fields of project management, event planning and delivery.
