WHAT DOES MY TICKET INCLUDE?
Your ticket offers you an exclusive evening on the Shorncliffe Pier: – Foreshore function with 3 course meal and drinks package including soft drinks, Sparkling wine, beer and wine. – Foreshore roving entertainment – Seat on the pier for The Long Table with dinner, dessert and drinks package – Stage entertainment (with cash bar for spirits)

ARE THERE CHILDREN’S TICKETS?
No. Liquor Licensing regulations require that this is an over 18 event only.

IS THERE A THEME?
Each year the event is themed and guests are encouraged to dress to the theme. The 2022 theme is ‘Carnival’.

HOW DO I GET THERE?
If you do not have a designated driver in your party, we strongly recommend the best option for transport which is to catch the train to Shorncliffe.

Driving There is a drop off point at the event and note that there is limited off street parking at the event.

Driving from: Brisbane City – Brighton: 35 minutes Mooloolaba – Brighton: 65 minutes Gold Coast – Brighton: 1 1/2 hours ARE THERE SEATS?

CATERING:
Dinner and dessert service via a fully seated event on the pier. The pre-drinks service is located on the foreshore and is standing only.

CAN I BRING FOOD?
No, this is a fully catered for event.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?
The event will have a set menu released prior to the event. The menu will cater for gluten free, dairy free and vegetarian. These requirements are indicated on the booking form.

CAN I BRING DRINKS?
No, we are a fully licenced venue and there is a strict no BYO of beverages policy.

CAN I SMOKE AT THE VENUE?
No, smoking is to be taken outside the venue more than 5 metres from any entry.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT THE WEATHER IS INCLEMENT E.G. RAIN OR WIND?
An inclement weather alternative will be decided prior to the event. Please ensure you provide contact details in your ticket purchase to ensure you are kept up to date. The event will be postponed in the event of inclement weather to date within 7 days to 6 months of the original date – this decision may be made the day of the event. Your ticket will automatically be transferred to the rescheduled date.

WHAT IS OUR REFUND POLICY?
All Ticket sales are non-refundable. If the event is rescheduled, all purchases will be honored for the next event date. If you cannot attend the rescheduled event, you may transfer your purchase to another person. If the event is canceled, all purchases will be refunded in full.

WHAT DO I WEAR?
We would advise you wear comfortable shoes (Please note that stiletto heels are not recommenced as they can get caught in the pier). Also, because we are an open-air venue we would suggest to dress for the occasion. Depending on the season you may need to bring with you a warm coat.

WHO IS IN CHARGE OF SECURITY?
Any Security guards at the gates, outside the venue and inside the venue are appointed by the Sandgate & Bayside Chamber of Commerce. If you have any issues please direct your questions to Event Staff or Security Staff.

WHAT ARE YOUR POLICIES ON RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL?
The Sandgate & Bayside Chamber of Commerce takes the Responsible Service of Alcohol very seriously. We have Security Guards roaming the venue.
Patrons are assessed upon entry to the venue and if deemed to be intoxicated will be refused entry. Police and security guards also patrol the area to ensure patrons are not “pre-loading” before entering the venue.
If you are concerned about the condition or behaviour of patrons near you, please alert one of the Security or RSA staff members.
